Diamond Size: 3.00ct
A carat is the international unit used to measure the weight of a diamond or gemstone. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. This means a 5ct diamond will weigh 1 gram.
The diamond you have chosen weighs 3.00 carats and measures around 9.14×9.21×5.70mm. Remember, these measurements are only an estimation, as every diamond has unique attributes.
Colour: G
G Coloured diamonds certificated by IGI are near colourless diamonds, and their very slight colour difference, if noticed, can only be detected when compared side by side to the top colourless diamond grades of D or E. On their own or set within jewellery, G coloured diamonds appear colourless and therefore offer an excellent choice in terms of appearance and value for money, and are very popular. Please note that in some cases, an IGI G colour might be comparable to a GIA H colour.
Clarity: VVS2
VVS2 graded diamonds certificated by IGI will generally have two tiny inclusions. The inclusions are not visible to the unaided eye and can only be located using a microscope (expert graders may be able to locate some VVS2 inclusion using a 10x magnification loupe). This clarity grade offers a very high level of clarity that is still very rare but less expensive price than a VVS1 or an IF.
Cut: Excellent
Excellent cut diamonds are at the top of the cut grading ladder and sparkle with the maximum possible brilliance and life. Polished to perfection, Excellent cut diamonds have ideal table and depth percentages to reflect the most amount of light. Diamonds bearing this cut grade are therefore very sought after and justifiably carry a small premium over other cut grades due to their rarity, fire and beauty.
